Technical Services & Warehouse

This project involved the design of a facility in which specialised medical devices are brought in for repair and maintenance. Alphaplus also designed a 1500 sqm storage warehouse on the same site for this leading global healthcare company.

The Technical Services facility design consisted of:

• Clean Receiving area (non-contaminated)
• Contaminated Receiving area
• Decontamination Room & washing
• Workshop areas

The Warehouse was built for the receiving, sampling, testing and storing of raw materials for use in the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals. The warehouse was designed to a capacity of 1200 pallets; it is fully air conditioned and meets the requirements of the Good Manufacturing Practice for Therapeutic Goods for Human Use.
